Has anyone had a case where contact cement (adhesive) was ignited by static electricity? In this case the adhesive was being rolled on a rubber roof. This adhesive was being applied with a large roller 6 inch diameter 36 inches long. The outside of this roller was constructed of household carpeting. The temperature was 90 deg F the relative humidity was 40%. There are no apparent accidental ignition sources at the rooftop.
