During a recent discussion it was stated that the use of the positive ventilation fans by FF, if the fan is operating in a fuel rich condition, it would draw the exhaust into the structure and spread gasoline residue throughout the structure, creating positive samples being recovered after the fire event.
I have talked to some chemist and can not find any research on this subject. Any suggestions?
