After reading some of the previous posts, I have a suggestion for the site moderator:
Would it be possible to have a "Pull down" menu of responses in order to speed the process of reading through some of the posts? Some suggestions for the pulldowns:

-921 should be a standard in order to prevent shoddy investigations.
-921 should not be a standard for a myriad of reasons.
-You're no expert Mr. _______________. I know this because I am truly an expert.
- I followed 921; you didn't.
- You're a big dummy and you dress funny.
- I know you are, but what am I?

I realize that we are discussing serious topics, with serious repercussions, but ad hominem attacks, borderline libel and name calling hardly advances the debate and doesn't resolve the issues. Don't get me wrong, it's entertaining and I love a good arguement (My Myers-Briggs personality profile requires that I engage in recreational arguments!) but sometimes it is difficult to glean the important points from the personal crossfire. There are some scary individuals doing bad work (private sector, public sector and freelance) and we should know who falls into these categories, but calling them names (while sometimes accurate and therapeutic) does little to advance the profession.

(I will now prepare for the messages that say that I splice commas, and don't properly conjegate my verbs and therefore should not be allowed to investigate fires.)
