I just today received a very nice message from Dr. Bill Kramer which I thought I would share with my colleagues here on the forum.

“Hello Patrick and sincere best wishes from the University of Cincinnati.

”Although its already been several months since you brought the wonderful and prestigious ISFI Conference to our University, I would like to express a sincere thank you for your presence and reassure you that we are most thankful to have had this partnership.

”Fire Investigators and other fire professionals from throughout the world convened and shared their experiences in a variety of fantastic classes. I know that several attendees availed themselves of the opportunity of gaining advanced standing for our course "Incendiary Fire Analysis and Investigation." This cost them NO tuition beyond what they paid to register with you. We will be glad to make the same offer in the future, regardless of where the ISFI conference is held.

”It was good to see that members of many fire departments and other organizations were rewarded with a great learning experience in this ‘Fire Academy’ environment.

”Comments from our participating faculty members and students were all quite positive, and certainly painted the ISFI in a favorable light. If there is ever a way in which the University of Cincinnati can return the favor please let us know.

Sincerely,

Bill Kramer

William M. Kramer, Ph.D.
Director of Fire Science "

NOTE: ISFI 2008 will be held in the UK in June 2008.

ISFI 2010 will return to the University of Cincinnati.
