A couple of additional questions.
Why would you feel compelled to say “that it was NOT the La IAAI. At least, not in the 8 years that I have been a member.”? How do you know that? And why do you feel compelled to defend the IAAI when it was never mentioned? I find that a backdoor afront to the IAAI.
What is meant by: “We intentionally let the cell go to flashover for several minutes,…” [a technical impossibility]?
What is meant by: “The point of the training was to show how patterns change when flashover occurs.”? How do patterns change in or after flashover?
If, “...about half of the class picked the right zone which means half got it wrong,” did you consider the training “successful?”
Your comment that: “Hopefully the days of collapsed springs and 'spalding' being indicators of accelerants will soon be a thing of the past in Louisiana.” is apparently not the case if Jim’s description of the recent training is accurate.
What were the qualifications of the instructors, both as to fire investigation science and instruction methodology?
