The intensive, 2-day course on Principles of Electrical Fires will again be offered on 8-9 July 2010. It will be held as an optional after-conference event in connection with Interflam 2010. The conference will take place on 5-7 July 2010, in Nottingham, England. This course is the only one which is based on providing detailed instruction on the basic scientific principles which underlie all electrical fires. Consequently, this course will provide new and valuable information even to those participants who have taken various empirically-based courses on electrical fires. It is also the only course uniquely based on material developed in the IGNITION HANDBOOK. The Interflam conference itself will also be of interest to fire investigators, since it is the premier international conference on fire safety research and provides a unique dialogue opportunity between members of various professions and industries interested in fire safety research topics.
