Ford expands F-150 faulty gas-tank strap recall

Ford is expanding their recall to 2.7 million vehicles due to possible gas tank strap failure allowing the fuel tank to contact the road surface. Leaking fuel vapors can ignite in the presence of a spark. Two fires have been reported recently as a result of the straps failing due to rust.
