BMW recall, p/s fluid leak

BMW recalled 2,642 vehicles -- the 2013 X6 and the diesel-powered 2012 and 2013 X5 xDrive35d -- for a "machining error of the steering gear surface" that could cause power steering fluid to leak and ignite on a hot exhaust pipe. Dealers will replace the steering gear starting in July. BMW customers can call 1-800-525-7417 for more information.
