SUMMARY:
Eldorado National-California, Inc. (Eldorado) is recalling certain model year 2013 XHF-32 and EZRM-35 transit buses. Under certain conditions, the affected compressed natural gas-powered vehicles have pressure relief devices that may leak compressed natural gas in cold environments.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the pressure relief device releases compressed natural gas in the presence of an ignition source, there is an increased risk of fire.
REMEDY:
Eldorado will notify owners, and dealers will repair the buses, free of charge. The recall began in July 2014. Owners may contact Eldorado customer service at 1-909-591-9557.
