Hydraulic Hose Failure

I have been looking for someone with expertise in the failure of hydraulic hoses. In particular, steel braided lines. I have a few cases on the go right now that have a relatively well defined origin at the crimped connection of the hose.

However, I often find hoses that have released at the crimp because heat has caused the internal hose material to soften and reduce in mass. Eventually, the tightness (is that a word?) of the crimp is compromised and the line pressure expels the hose from the connector.

I'd like to discuss this further with someone.

Thanks in advance,
