A related question:

Had a fire under the undercarriage of a cash-in-transit based on Toyota Hino mechanicals.
Auto box has an industrial-sized dipstick, which was found half-out of it's filler pipe
which terminates in the engine bay directly above the exhaust turbo...
Gearbox oil level is a bit on the high side, and pretty dark; used/overheated/burnt?

Any ideas as to what could/would force the dipstick out of it's filler pipe?
