I apologize for offending anyone in advance for this question but after days of reading previous post I have failed to learn one important fact. I have given several possible definitions for the standard of care and how that standard is determined. Many believe I am wrong and they may well be right. What I would appreciate is those individuals to define what they believe is the standard of care for a profession and explain how that standard is determined.
