many of the older public and in particular parochail and private schools in Pa. have old Ac powered unspurpervised fire alarms which are local only
and many school districts refuse to tie into any type of monitoring service becaause of false alarms bringing fire fighters there unessarly taking away from class time is there argument.
districts refuse to upgrade there systems period unitil court enforced force is used by AHJ. it is absolutely pathetic in Pa the condition of our schools and there safety systems.
One of the more memorable fights with schools getting tied in was monroeville Pa were free equiptment was offered and they still refused.
