Interestingly, it appears that gasoline does not ignite in Ford fires. I had the pleasure of reading numerous accounts of reports/testimony by Ford's favorite fire investigator. From what I gathered, it appears that even when a Ford gets cut in two by impact and turns upside down, the resulting fire is from crankcase oil or other fluids but never gasoline smiling smiley
