Let's keep it straight boys. I know that you guys know this stuff, but sometimes we tend to be too inexact in out terminology.
There is no such thing as an O2 fire. O2 does not burn, it is never a fuel, and cannot be ignited. In all cases involving O2 it something else that is burning, the O2 is exacerbating the fire.
The presnece of oxygen and an increase in its partial pressure can increase HRR (kW), temperature, fire growth rate (HRR/time), widen the flammable range of a gas or vapor, and increase the ease of ignition of a fuel, but can never be a fuel.
