In light of all the problems with litium batteries made off market I would not rule it out.
Almost all batteries have warnings about not exposing to heat and using in air tight containers.

I have seen several cases on job sites where a flashlight left in a tool box on the back of truck bed on a hot day has exploded and blown flashlight apart.

You never know what has been put into off market batteries and or there quality control espessially the ones coming from overseas I avoid them all together.
I have had too many testers etc nearly rueind by batteries leaking etc.
