The International Code Council has schduled hearings in October of this year
regarding the flammiblity of synthetic wood decking products. Some of these products burn rapidly and drip forming pool fires, see test data
at HTTP:www.cnr.Berkeley.edu/forestry/structures/testdata
Anyone who has had a fire where the synthetic decking has been a factor is
encouraged to contact Dmusselwhite@icc-es.org.
July 1.2007 is the closing date for receiving complaints for this code cycle.
