I am not disagreeing about the probability of gasoline vapors being ignited by a cigarette. As we all know is science there is no theories that are absolutes. Maybe the better way of saying the same thing is to say, while it is impossible to conduct an infinite number of experiments to provide absolute proof that ignition of gasoline could never happen with a lit cigarette, based on the currently available experimental data, derived under controlled laboratory conditions from this and other studies, there is no evidence that a cigarette is a competent ignition source for gasoline vapors.
