Sir Gary:
Insurance investigators here, in most states may call themselves fire investigators but by law (40 states) are registered and licensed as Private Investigators and Professional Engineers. They may be practicing in the insurance industry, but ARE NOT in most cases NOT licensed to practice insurance. That is where the issues are popping up here whether they are classified as "essential". Add in that all states enforce their rules differently, only adds to the confusion.
Personally, it isn't worth a couple dozen potential misdemeanor charges and significant fines due to an attorney's personal interpretation of the Unprecedented Governor Order.
