I have no knowlege on particular light but Having owned several different spotlites over the years I never leave them plugged in and charging unless im in the truck. that goes for cell phones etc etc etc. i have seen vibration turn some on and some turn on all by them selves due to cheap construction.
I have also seen some melt due to badly designed charging circuits.
most have been in 20-60 dollar range .
