I had a spotlight, I don't remember the manufacturer's name, which was left plugged in and was turned on accidentally. The lens of the light was face down on the carpet of the vehicle and in a very short time (15 -20 minutes) the passenger compartment was filled w/ smoke and the carpet was melting. Yes, it was my personal vehicle, if you must know. I was impressed however with the amount of heat generated.
