So John,

SO according to the latest statistics published by the NFPA there are on average about 490,000 structure fires each year to which NFPA 1033 addresses. However, the latest statistics there were also avging 180,000 vehicle fires during the same timeframe (rough approx. 36%).

Does that mean that under 1033 I do not have to comply with 1033 if we are dealing with 12VDC vehicular systems, NOT 120/240/480/etc Household Systems? RV Systems? Marine Systems? Automotive Systems? AGS Systems? This is just one of many discussion points with the fallacy of relevance NFPA 1033.
There are known glowing errors in the document.
