This is the only one besides the Olympus E Volt series to have an automatically cleaned/dust free CCD using the same mechanism that the Olympic does. I believe this camera will also use the Minolta Maxxum lenses or some other ones and possibly other accessories such as certain model flashes, etc. Looks like a good camera. I was waiting for Konica/Minolta to come up with this as I have used Minolta Maxxum and other models for years and have a lot of accessories, but KM never came out with a truly good Digital and this should have been what they should have done and save me some money. I have been using the Olympus fpr about a year and it has been through a lot and performs superbly. There is an excellent review of the Sony as well as most other cameras as they come out and historically at: [www.dpreview.com]
