I am looking for any information related to electrically operated power seat switch fires in 2003 BMW 525 I vehicles. This particular fire loss involves a vehicle that was being driven on an interstate highway when the driver and the occupant noticed white smoke coming from under the front seats. The driver parked the vehicle at the side of the road as black smoke filled the passenger compartment. The occupants exited the car and immediately called 911.

This is a selective isolated fire with minimal damage to the interior passenger compartment. The point of fire origin is centered at the drivers side seat switch.

I am looking for any similar occurrences involving seat switches in 2003 BMW 525 I Vehicles.
