My father is on his second BMW and I’m on my first. He introduced me to these great cars and I thought I was a lifetime BMW purchaser until a series of recent events that give me serious pause. My father’s car wasn’t running well so he dropped it off at his dealer. He got a call from the dealership with some “bad news.” It wasn’t that he was in for some costly engine repairs; it was that his car caught on FIRE. What’s worse is that they are being reluctant to pay for the damage because the damage was secondary to some faulty wiring under the seat. If this is what happens at BMW dealership, I may have to move over to another type of car….
