Well there are ways, this guy was just not smart enough to do it I guess. I was just commenting though to provide some insite I guess. I see the legal statement you have quoted there. It sounds good, but to get anyone to put what this guy is doing into a category that fits any of that, will be the problem. I would say your best bet, if you really want it to end, is to simply ban the IP address. Don't take it wrong, not taking sides, just giving you another perspective. To say he is impersonating someone else because of his email ID will be a stretch. Now if he were actually telling you in the body of the email that he was someone that he was not, and by telling you he was this person it was somehow going to effect the way you handle business or effect decisions you had to make professionally, then yeah. Aside from that, I could tell you I was anyone I cared to tell you I was, call you every name in the book, threaten you ect, and most likely you will get nothing from an ISP or an email provider, until it turned into something more than just internet talk. I'm not saying it cant happen, I've just never seen it happen, and I've seen people talk alot more harshly to each other than goes on here. The difference being, many of you here are professionals in your work, and take things a little more personal, many times because you are up close and personal with others in your field. Either way good luck.
