Well I wasn't the one who said people don't come here to learn. That is why I am here. You are referring to another thread, where Pat told me I should leave if I have no technical expertise, knowledge or training to add to the board. I then asked the question, don't people come here to learn? Pat has decided he doesn't like me here, simply because I have a difference of opinion of an "expert" that posts here. I simply wanted answers, scientific answers, to contradict the expert that I know. He didn't do that, so I continue to read and post learning what I can. Pat seems upset with me, for reasons that I cannot answer. Therefore, I really don't care anymore. I haven't done anything wrong, other than push at the ego's of a few that want to think themselves infalible by asking questions or making comments that I guess aren't generally asked, because they are protected by lawyers most of the time in a courtroom. That is the problem I see, a forum full of "experts" and most of you can't seem to agree or get along. It seems very ego driven and if you don't see it their way, evidence backed or not, then your an idiot and need to get off of their pedestal. I guess I always assumed it would take a more kind hearted person to do the kinds of things many of you do, and I assumed that science was science, but that hasn't been true. People tend to do things just to one up others, even if it means totally disregarding any science. That price just seems to great to me to accept, one reason I knew growing up I could never be an attorney, especially a defense attorney. Our justice system is designed in such a way that even if a defense attorney knows his client is guilty, he cannot violate his clients trust and reveal it. Their job is to simply get their client off no matter what it takes. Maybe it didn't start out that way, but that is the way it has ended, and I see alot of that attitude around here. I have done nothing wrong while I have been here, and tried to be as polite as I could be, yet I'm still talked to like I'm the criminal. Thats just how I see it firecop, and it's not personal towards you or anyone else here in particular. Just my overall assumption.
