I look forward to seeing your proposal for new or revised text to be added to the 2020 edition of NFPA 921.

As you know, the current language was added 20 years ago in response to an epidemic of prosecutors attempting to admit unconfirmed alerts into evidence at trials. As was written by the 921 committee, a fraud was being perpetrated on the Justice system. Science won the day in 1996, but there are still some people who refuse to accept that result.

CADA's positions are scientifically valid and important. I wish they were universally accepted.
