at the one minute and fourteen second mark the fire using gas as long as it did not extend and ignite other materials would be about out. Tests have shown gas going out from the 1.20 to 1.45 mark. While black smoke would be produced I would not think it to be enough to fill the room to the point of spilling out and filling the attic enough to be seen coming out the soffits. It would take alot of gas to do that. The amount of gas does not change the burn time that much but does increase the amount of smoke reduced as the amount of fuel increases.
