I agree. What I have come to notice is that the courts are using 921 as a guide for them to evaluate fire investigations. They are taking the important sections of 921 and applying it to the expert's investigation. In cases where the court has no required the expert to follow 921 they are requiring the expert present a methodology equal to or better than what is found in 921. I think them addressing methodology is great for out profession.
