The plot thickens..............................The fire started in my bedroom at 9:30 am. The Fireman didn't call in a Arson Investigator or an Arson Dog. The reason I am inquisitive to your expert opinions are because, my husband was filing for divorce and had recently doubled the Insurance on the house. The Insurance claim payoff was over a half of a million dollars. The claim was paid quickly by USAA Insurance Company. The San Diego Fire Dept. told me they adamantly could not determine the cause of the fire only the exact area by the burn (V) pattern. They asked me what was in the area of the "V" pattern and I explained NOTHING. It was not electrical and there was nothing in the spot the Firemen pointed to. I have always believed my now ex-husband had something to do with the fire. Oh, which reminds me. I was awaken about an hour prior to my bedroom being engulfed in flames by a 'crash' or loud noise. It woke me up but I feel back asleep. Also, my son left for work at 9 am and came to my bedroom to turn off the TV which had been left on overnight. He told the Firemen that after turning the TV off, my room was quiet and he didn't see or smell anything that would have alerted him. Within 30 minutes of my son leaving for work the entire upstairs of my home was engulfed in flames.
