Tony:
Thank you for posting excerpts of the content of the deposition and trial transcript, it made for enlightened reading. However, it would be helpful if you could please post a case/court number citation so the rest of us can review the information for ourselves?
In addition, I think it is perfectly clear to myself and others (judging by the late night fax I just received), who you are trying to mention with regard to the PHD expert. However, I would like to know if the PHD scientist's deposition/trial testimony in fact made such statements in support of the fire expert witness.
As you already know, there are individuals who, in the heat of the moment, "add" to their testimony "facts" (such as statements) which never in fact were made. It is not fair or ethically right to to identify the "scientist" (and you did single him out even though trying to do so anonymously) and impugn his reputation without at least offering documentation to support that position.
Thanks Tony and I look forward to your response.
