NFPA 921 is not a text book. It is a guide to conducting investigations. The information found in 921 is taught through a conglomerate of training and education. This training and education is gathered through a variety of sources (40 hour classes, cfitrainer, conferences, seminars, IAAI/NAFI sponsored specific classes, etc.). The concern here is the individual who wants to learn his chosen career by learning one book. Sure a two day class on 921 is and was great, but that is the tip of the iceberg. 921 courses should be refreshers, and teach the changes, not a sole educating tool.
