Dixon,
The HRR of a specific fuel is measured through the oxygen depletion calorimetry after flaming combustion has been established. The first question that should be asked is can dry pet food support flaming combustion? Unless I am missing something, I would be surprised to learn that it would.
Is it obvious that the origin is at the dry pet food storage bin? If not, then what is the technical basis for the determination of the origin at the bin?
Sincerely,
Doug Carpenter
