The training aid for Attorney to understand fire comes from getting your boots dirty and studying real fire. Now I know that most of my colleges here will call BS and say that it is all in 921 and 1033, however if you what to understand fire it comes from feeling, touching, hearing and smelling FIRE. Watching what it does seeing how it moves, witnessing the devastation, pain and death it can cause. Yes I know that lawyers especially on the prosecution side of criminal law in a months case load will do a murder trial, then an arson case, then a armed robbery case, and I know it would be ideal if especially in prosecution cases lawyers were specialists in Arson Law and investigations. The sad fact they are not.
The best training aid is getting to scenes and get dirty.
