If there is a UK course on expert testimony approved, shouldn't it be included in the program so that all know it is approved ? Shouldn't the committee have made a committee proposal to include it or will there be changes to the program that are not detailed in the proposals - as in the past ?
As for the proposals in general, remember that these change the program as in place now. There is no requirement for testimony epxerience for recertification, so the proposals do not change that.
Recertification requires 20 points in training which means that the CFI must
attend 80 hours of tested training over the five year period. The
cfitrainer.net courses typically run 4-5 hours each. So, no CFI can attain
recertification solely on cfitrainer.net courses. The CFI must attend some
other training to meet the training requirements.
