No I don't consider this a motive driven case. Although when motive slaps you in the face, you have to listen to it too. She left three children home alone in the middle of the day, the oldest one being 10, the youngest one being 3. Somehow none of the kids manage to make it out, not even the 10 year old, who one would think would know enough to get out of a burning house. I knew her well, I raised her from the time she was 6 months old until the time we seperated as husband and wife. She was smart, and it is puzzling. The original thought was why would she leave the kids alone to begin with, then the fire dept dogs hit all over and around the house, unfortunately though as was said before, they bulldozed the house and samples were not taken from house because they got tunnel vision when they saw spalding. It was a matter of simply not being trained well enough. That did however spark enough interest for them to start checking her story, which didnt add up, and the more they dug the more they found out.
