Yes. You can have more than one hypothesis at a time. If one of them is more probable than not, it can be your final hypothesis. If none of the hypotheses reaches the "probable" standard and all may be possible (to equal or varying degrees) you have not reached a final hypothesis and the object of your inquiry is "Undertermined."
