A typical fire would self-extinguish in a refrigerator. However, there is possibly sufficient oxygen present to support a small flame which might defeat the gasket prior to extinction.
An average refrigerator contains around 100g of O2.
The most obvious way a fire could propagate from a closed refrigerator would be by the ignition of flammable vapor, which would blow the door open. That's one reason why they make "explosion-proof" refrigerators for laboratories.
