The longest post-flashover time in any of the tests reported was two minutes. We have to start somewhere, but how do we investigate a fire where it burns long enough for the drywall to fall off the studs?
Assuming we get the room or origin correct (See Carman's work on the Z-factor), every potential ignition source in the room needs to be examined. None can be eliminated because "it's outside the area of origin."
