MSDS says flashpoint below 0C/Boiling point >80C (i.e. Class 1b as per NFPA 30);
also that the solvent blend is prone to static buildup.
No electrical resistance data for the solvent blend (in terms of NFPA 77),
just that it is >50% toluene & xylene (which I read are prone to static buildup).
Decanting/weighing operations are indoors (or were; it's open-plan now...)
I feel for the client, whom were using the IBC's as delivered by the distributor;
way I read it, plastic IBC's are not advised for Class 1 (per NFPA 30) solvents?
