I have had some questions on the ducting myself, so I went to the UL web site and they relate to a standard UL 94 and talk about the PVC ducting and the VO or So fire retardant's in the ducting and by being a retardant once the flame has been removed it allegded to stop the spread of fire, but I also have observed where the ducting spread the fire to other areas in the attic and even into a/c chase.
There is also a NFPA standard that UL 94 alludes to. It sure is fun to step in to the wiring of the ducting and get tanlge foot with it; fall flat on your face.
It is good to know that others are having the same questions.

Best regards, Tony
