I had a fire a few months ago where flammable paint fumes ignited burning the painting contractor and igniting nearby conbustibles. There was large diameter flexible duct work used for ventilation purposes (removing paint fumes) within the area of origin and extending quite a distance away, and yes it did burn. One would have assumed due to the flammable paint being used and the ventilation system that was being utilized, the flexible material would not support combustion.
