Re: BATF Fire Test Publications - Patterns Developed by Flashover & False Pattern
Thanks Steve,
Your comments are right on track, particularly with the work that is on-going in the Advanced Fire Pattern Research Project (AFPRP) at Eastern Kentucky University. You may want to contact Professor Ron Hopkins there. Your personal participation is invited. More full-scale tests are scheduled for next March.
Also, several papers dealing with the previous full-scale burns of the AFPRP have been, or are, scheduled to be published at: ISFI 2004, ISFI 2006, Interflam 2004, NFPA 2004, 2005, 2006, & 2007, and a new paper on Patterns Persistence Through Flashover (Hopkins and Gorbett) will be presented at Fire and Materials 2007 in San Francisco later this month.
