Whether I agree or disagree with Chris is irrelevant. The rules were clearly stated and if I violate those rules I fully expect to be banned.
I would like to add one thought, however. I hope this doesn’t change the spirit of this site. I haven't been on this site for to long, only a few months. I had respect for some of the folks on this site and thought some were pompous windbags before I began reading and posting here. Based on the open discussions and yes, inappropriate name calling I have read, some of my opinions have changed considerably. I now have respect for some of the folks that I didn’t really know but heard negative things about and some of the folks that I had respected in the field are clearly complete self-serving windbags.
All that being said it is really pretty simple. The rules are the rules. If a guy is a jerk and you feel the need to tell him, private message him. Most of us know who is a jerk without a guide or a standard. Sorry MIJ.
However, this is my opinion, but I’ve been wrong before.
