Are you saying that there is a case where the court state a specific organization has adopted NFPA 921 as the standard of care for fire investigators? I do not want to misunderstand you. Is there any organization, other than NAFI that has published in any of their documents that NFPA 921 is the standard of care for their organization? I know the history of NAFI and NFPA 921. Pat Kennedy was their representative. I do not believe I said that NAFI did not consider it to be the standard of care for its organization. What I asked is for a court case where the court agreed by saying it agreed with NAFI.

Leave me ask you does NFPA offer a certification program for fire investigators where they declare it to be the standard of care for fire investigators?

You state, “The other major International Professional Trade Organization is the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), which has several thousand members in approximately 19 countries. Besides individual members, public agency representation also includes the US Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, numerous State Police Arson Units, numerous State Fire Marshal’s Offices, extensive local and county fire departments, and police departments.” Do you have a statement from the organizations you mention where it states they have adopted NFPA 921 as the standard of care for their organization?

Can you show me a document that states one with a NAFI certification must acknowledge the official position of NAFI as their own position?

I am willing to consider, and reevaluate my statement based on any documentation that shows my statement was incorrect.
