It's a larger area inside Beirut and this is the first incident of its kind I have heard about in such circumstances. Even in case someone is burned he will escape the scene...Anyway, stealing was just an idea but up to me can't be done at this time unless it is something arranged with the workers of the gas station. Whatever is the cause, a diesel tank to explode needs to be heated for several minutes and the fire and smoke would be noticed for sure from the buildings around. I entered inside the tank and found no traces of explosives neither outside. The tank is used only for diesel storage storage since several years. I am going to send a sample from the fuel to the lab because i suspect the possibility that they are mixing the diesel with a cheaper product to make more profit...but what could be this product??? On the other side it could be an Arson but how they made this tank explode without a fire around it???
