By The Daily Star
Saturday, August 23, 2008
BEIRUT: Economy and Trade Minister Mohammed Safadi said Friday that some merchants are tampering with consumer goods in Lebanon which would affect the health of the citizens.
The minister said during a press conference that some merchants are mixing gasoil and fuel oil with another inflammable material (thinner) which is cheaper and more dangerous.
He added that the merchants are mixing this material to make a quick and illegitimate profit.
"This material is very inflammable and poses a threat to the lives of the citizens. We urge all citizens to be very careful when buying gas and fuel oil from any station," Safadi said...
