Correct:

I always advise my clients that they should use a different set of wording than interested party. I recommend they contact all known parties to a case and given them a courtesy invitation to be present during my final investigation into the matter, as their product has been identified and may have been involved in the incident. This way, the party has been formally placed on notice, yet they are not being blamed at this time and you are giving them the opportunity to access the scene in a relatively pristine manner. Generally when you do this, you get a more timely response and general cooperation from the manufacturer(s).
