Hope the depositions when well for your side. Actually, this thread was for you but everyone else got into it and truthfully I like Steve’s comments the best. My question to you was would you assist me on evaluation the following statement? The Standard of Care for fire investigators is based on the principle that an investigator does not breach the legal standard of care, and is therefore not negligent, if the procedure used by that investigator is supported by a responsible body of similar professionals.
In your opinion is this an accurate statement, if not where does it go astray? The purpose of this wording was to see if there was any common ground we could agree on and work from there to a consensus.
